Day One- Atlantic Crossing

After postponing our departure for 4 days we finally left Georgia yesterday around 3pm. 24 hours at sea and only approximately 312 more before we reach land again. We will stop in Gibraltar for an amount of time to re fuel and continue on to Montenegro. Right now the seas could be a tad nicer to us but the weather is gorgeous and I'm just thankful it's not any worse! There is honestly nothing more unsettling than feeling stuck on a horrific ride turning your stomach over and over with absolutely no way off. Sleeping last night was somewhat of a nightmare with the swell being a bit larger than a simple rocking one to sleep but hey, it's all part of the experience.... How many people get to say they've embarked on a Trans Atlantic crossing? I'm on my way... And so are you.
